Monotype Demonstration
The Whittington Press always opens on the day of the Fete. This is a fantastic time to see the inner workings of Jon Randal's Whittington Press, which this year had demonstrations of its monotype machine and flat bed presses. Also present were the Incline Press from Oldham, Chris Rowlatt, the excellent paper marbler and bookbinder from Presteigne, and the illustrator Leslie Gerry who has just brought out Portmeirion through the Whittington Press.
