"Emerging into Colour"
Back in May, we were invited to Jim and Dom's private view at Whichford Pottery , near Shipston-on-Stour in Warwickshire. Dom was exhibiting large pastel works on paper (which you can see in the photograph) and Jim had filled the gardens around the pottery with a great range of statuary obelisks of various sizes. None of them was quite so large as to to need Obelix to carry them about the place, but they are nonetheless large pieces intended to form the centre pieces for a garden.
As is customary at any Whichford event, the whole place was crowded, the wine flowed and the pastels were bought up at an enviably high rate, as evidenced by the profusion of little red dots. A wonderful evening with an excellent collection of work.
