This image, which will go on display for the first time at the forthcoming Artsweek exhibition at the Strawbale Studio in Duns Tew is the second in the series of images I'm producing for my book of walks taken from the diary of the Rev. Francis Kilvert who was curate to the church at Clyro in Radnorshire from 1865 until 1872. The diary describes evocatively the countryside of the Welsh borders in the 1870s, and which is in many ways unchanged from those times. The book is an ongoing longstanding effort to produce a fitting handbook to the area.
